The results of KIIS polls conducted from September 10 to 16 and from September 20 to October 3 showed that in the third year a full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, only 3% of respondents still have a positive attitude towards the aggressor country.
In the West, there are 1% of such citizens, in the Center – 3%, in the South – 5% and in the East – 3%, the NBN publication reports.
At the same time, the majority of study participants (93%) have a negative attitude towards the Russian Federation. In the West, 96% of respondents stated this, in the Center – 93% of respondents, in the South – 90% and in the East – 88%.
KIIS sociologists note that the attitude of Ukrainians towards the Russian Federation worsened after the aggressive actions of the neighboring country, and did not precede it.
In November 2021, 76% of respondents had a positive attitude towards Russia, 14% stated a negative attitude. Already in May 2022, the situation changed dramatically and 82% of respondents said they had a bad attitude towards the Russian Federation, while 11% still had a good attitude towards it.
The authorities of the terrorist state and Kremlin propaganda claim that the invasion was the result of growing anti-Russian sentiment in Ukraine, but the results of the poll show that the residents of our country have revised their attitude towards the Russian Federation due to its brutal actions.
