As NBN reports, citing The Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump has not yet decided on a specific plan to end the war in Ukraine, but the new US president's team has something to offer for discussion.

According to Trump's advisers, the billionaire does not yet know how he will persuade Kremlin tyrant Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to sit down at the negotiating table. In particular, the US presidential headquarters has developed various types of settlement, but Trump must decide which will become the fundamental one.

For example, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (who is predicted to become head of the Pentagon) proposed a plan that will not allow the aggressor country to achieve a “big victory”. However, Richard Grenell, a candidate for the post of Secretary of State or National Security Advisor, is sure that we should strive to quickly end the war, even if we give in to Moscow.

One of the points of the above-described plan provides for Kyiv to promise not to join the North Atlantic Alliance for at least 20 years, and in exchange for this, Washington will continue to send weapons to Ukraine. In addition, Ukraine and the Russian Federation must agree to the creation of a demilitarized zone of more than 1,300 kilometers, in which order will be maintained not by US and UN troops, but by “the Poles, Germans, British, and French.”

Earlier, we wrote about Fico praising the Chinese-Brazilian “peace plan” and accusing the West of escalating the war in Ukraine.
