As NBN reports with a link to an exclusive video from the Boxing News YouTube channel, Karen Chukhadzhyan spoke about his second defeat to IBF welterweight champion Jaron Ennis.
When asked whether “too severe a penalty”, that is, a point deducted in the 10th round, would have affected the outcome of the fight with the American, the Ukrainian boxer replied that the opposite situation would not have changed anything, since at that moment the fight was already effectively lost, and “plus a point, minus a point” did not decide anything.
Chukhadzhyan also very succinctly explained why he still failed to win over Ennis, as the domestic boxing community expected:
I did everything I could, but it wasn't enough… This defeat is very painful.
