The Belarusian dictator answered a question from media representatives about whether a woman can become the leader of the country. The illegitimate head of the Republic of Belarus said that “one does not become a president – one is born a president”, specifying that a person “by nature” must possess “fundamental qualities” for this position.
This is reported by the publication “NBN” with reference to “Belta”.
According to Putin's ally, governing the state is a very difficult job. The self-proclaimed head of the Republic of Belarus specified that in his country the position of president is “not ceremonial”, and here “one needs to delve into everything”. He stressed that “there is no need to burden” women with such powers and shift supposedly male responsibilities onto them.
At the same time, Lukashenko added that he “does not belittle the role” of women and that they should be there so that they can lean on a strong shoulder, as “usually happens” with men.
The dictator noted that perhaps in the future Belarus will have a “style” of American elections, when women can run for office and be elected.
Earlier, Lukashenko commented on the re-election of Donald Trump, praising the Republican.
