As NBN writes with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the “second army of the world” recently tried to take control of Kupyansk, carrying out a mechanized assault with two columns of armored vehicles.

According to geolocation footage published two days ago, on November 13, at least four units of armored vehicles of Putin's troops carried out an attack on Kupyansk, but, in the end, the occupiers managed to advance slightly to the south along the railway lines.

According to information from various sources, both Russian and Ukrainian, the above-described columns of enemy equipment consisted of: the first – one tank and three armored vehicles, the second – an unspecified number of identical vehicles. However, despite this relatively intensified attack, the invaders still failed to gain a foothold in Kupyansk thanks to the effective counteraction of the Defense Forces, which was confirmed by the Center for Countering Information under the National Security and Defense Council and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

However, according to ISW analysts, the Russian occupation forces, apparently, entered the northeastern part of Kupyansk, but did not take full control of this territory.

Earlier we wrote that Terekhov stated that the occupiers began to use a new type of weapon to strike Kharkov.
