The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine commented on the “fake news” about saboteurs installing Russian flags in Chernihiv region

Russian propagandists claimed that the “liberators” entered the villages of Gremyach and Murav'i in the Novgorod-Seversky district of the Chernihiv region, hanging flags of the terrorist state there.

As reported by NBN with reference to the official Telegram profile of the State Border Service of Ukraine, the statements of the “mouthpieces of the Kremlin” regarding the penetration of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups into Gremyachi in the Chernihiv region, in fact, do not correspond to reality.

As noted by the State Border Service of Ukraine, the bridge over the Sudost River, near which enemy saboteurs allegedly installed the “tricolor”, was not crossed by the occupiers, since this section of the territory is cut off by water obstacles (rivers), and no one lives in the adjacent settlements. In addition, due to the regular flooding of the lands of the Chernihiv region in this zone, it is not possible to build proper fortifications there.

The border guards separately emphasized that the defenders completely control the above-described direction, having taken the most advantageous positions for holding the defense, and precisely because of this, “it is not worth giving in to the information and psychological influence of the enemy.”

Earlier, our information portal wrote that the Defense Forces repelled an attempt to break through Putin's army in Kupyansk.
