The French leader before flying out of Buenos Aires admitted that he could agree to talk with the Russian leader. Macron recalled that he had never ruled out resuming talks with the Kremlin dictator.

The politician clarified that he was ready to hold a telephone conversation with Putin “when the context and conditions are appropriate,” NBN reports, citing the French publication Le Figaro.

Recall that against the backdrop of the recent massive attack by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukraine, the head of France said that the Kremlin dictator does not want peace and is not ready for the negotiation process, his goal is to make the fighting even more intense. Macron noted that Kyiv's allies must fulfill their obligations to him by providing weapons and equipment for the Defense Forces.

The president also commented on the telephone conversation between the head of the German government Olaf Scholz and the Russian leader on November 15. The politician noted that each leader is absolutely free in his initiatives.

Earlier, Scholz's talks with Putin were confirmed in Berlin, revealing some details of their dialogue.
