Musienko in an interview with the publication “RBK-Ukraine” said that the Russian Armed Forces at the front in Ukraine use the tactics of assault by small groups. 1-2 fighters run forward to cover, gather and go on the attack, using armored vehicles or buggies, ATVs or motorcycles to get as close as possible to the defenders' positions and engage them in small arms combat.
According to him, having an endless human resource, the “second army of the world” uses this tactic in all directions – assaults with large numbers of manpower and fire support, NBN reports.
The deputy commander of the missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces noted that, first of all, the Russian Armed Forces put pressure on the infantry invasion and succeed thanks to regular attacks with KABs, since our fighters simply knock out their equipment.
The military man clarified that for this reason, the Defense Forces are protected from enemy infantry by artillery and FPV drones. The main task is to prevent the invaders from approaching our soldiers and not to lose positions. A firefight for the Ukrainian Armed Forces should be a last resort.
As reported, the Southern Defense Forces spoke about a change in the tactics of assaults by the Russian Armed Forces in the Vremovsky direction.
