The head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation announced on the air of the national telethon that starting from December 1, every Ukrainian man and woman will be able to apply in the Diia application to receive “winter support” from the state, the NBN publication reports.
According to him, the ministry is working to ensure that the application can handle the entire flow of applications to receive 1,000 hryvnia from the president. The official believes that this will be the largest popular service that the department has launched in recent years.
The Minister of Digital Transformation said that 21 million Ukrainians use the Diia public services portal and this application is installed on about 70% of smartphones.
It should be noted that the head of state announced at the end of October that every Ukrainian would receive 1,000 hryvnia from the state budget on the National Cashback card. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers Denys Shmyhal reported that “winter support” can be spent over the next year, naming a list of Ukrainian services and goods available for this.
