Putin's spokesman has commented on Western journalists' reports that the Kremlin leader is allegedly ready to discuss a ceasefire in Ukraine and may agree to such a scenario.

According to the official, the dictator had previously stated that Moscow was not satisfied with any options for “freezing” military action in Ukraine and that it was important for it to achieve all the goals of the so-called “special operation,” which were “well known to everyone.”
At the same time, the Russian leader's press secretary added that Putin had repeatedly expressed his readiness for contacts and negotiations.
