London has not lifted the ban on the use of British Storm Shadow missiles for attacks on Russian territory, despite the fact that Washington has allowed the Ukrainian Defense Forces to use its ATACMS missiles for the same purpose, NBN reports, citing The Times.

The UK Secretary of State for the Armed Forces said that, for reasons of operational security, he could not comment on the position of his country's leadership.

At the same time, the official stressed that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin is the only person who is escalating the war in Ukraine, targeting its citizens and infrastructure.

Pollard added that the Russian leader is the only person who can stop the fighting and do so today. Now Putin continues to threaten Western countries and poses a threat to Great Britain, so London's support for Ukraine will be long-term.

Recall that the Kremlin commented on media reports about the Russian dictator's readiness to discuss a ceasefire in Ukraine.
