The GVA answered whether Putin's army was able to advance in the Kupyansk area

As reported by NBN with reference to the material of Espresso, the head of the Kupyansk city military administration (GVA) Andrey Besedin said whether there are changes in the situation along the Oskol River, and whether the “liberators” have achieved any success in this direction.

Based on Besedin’s words, in certain front-line areas of the Kupyansk direction, the “second army of the world” managed to approach and gain a foothold at Oskol. However, if we proceed from the tasks set by the Russian generals, then the invaders stopped 2.5 kilometers from the borders of Kupyansk, and 3 kilometers from the Oskol River, that is, “they have no successes now.”

The head of the GVA added – the situation near Kupyansk remains tense and very difficult, since the enemy does not spare human resources, and throws large forces into the assaults of the direction, ignoring the incursion of huge losses for the sake of fulfilling “some tasks.”

Besedin summarized:

…They [the Ukrainian Defense Forces] are fighting for every centimeter of our land, and no one will enter without losses, and no one will take our land.

Earlier we wrote about a military expert explaining why it is more important for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to contain the Russian Federation in the Kursk region, and not in the east of Ukraine.
