The head of the OVA said that at about 08:30 the Russian Armed Forces attacked the center of Kharkiv with a missile, according to preliminary information from the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system, the NBN publication reports.
According to him, the strike hit the courtyards of multi-story residential buildings. The official specified that the number of victims as a result of the occupiers' shelling had increased to 23 people, of whom 14 were hospitalized.
Earlier, the head of the regional military administration reported that a fire broke out on one of the streets of Kharkov after the attack, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
The mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, said on the national telethon that Putin's army had launched a missile attack near the building of the Kyiv administration in Kharkiv, where the Center for the Provision of Administrative Services is located.
