Seleznev said on Radio NV that a week ago he reported that in the south In the Zaporizhia region, the Russian group “Dnepr” consists of 90,000 occupiers. On November 25, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported that the number of Russian forces in this direction had increased to 130,000 fighters.

According to him, this number of troops is not enough to attack Zaporizhia; it is necessary to accumulate forces of at least 300,000 occupiers, the NBN publication reports.

At the same time, as the expert claims, if the enemy decides to use the group that exists today, this could create serious tactical problems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The former speaker of the General Staff of Ukraine explained that the “Dnepr” group is led by Mikhail Teplinsky, this general is the most sane among Russian military leaders.

The enemy also has constant uninterrupted logistics for these forces. After the Ukrainian forces left Ugledar, the Ukrainian Armed Forces artillery does not reach the railway junction in Volnovakha, which is key to supplying the invaders in the south of Zaporizhia and Donetsk.

Considering these factors, Seleznev warned about the challenge for the defenders, and in his opinion, the threat will grow in the future.

Earlier, Oleksandr Musienko answered whether there is a threat of encirclement and capture of Zaporizhia.
