Last week, the American publication The New York Times published an article in which it was reported that, according to some Western officials, White House chief Joe Biden may transfer nuclear weapons to Ukraine, NBN reports.

Reuters writes that the Kremlin is unhappy with the discussions in the West about the possibility of transferring nuclear weapons to Kyiv. The Russian dictator's spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that such talk is “absolutely irresponsible.”

Putin's press secretary drew attention to the fact that the corresponding comments are attributed only to anonymous sources and those who make these statements “do not feel an ounce of responsibility.”

The Moscow representative believes that Western countries should listen carefully to the head of the Kremlin.

Recall that former Russian President and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the lifting of US restrictions on strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the territory of a terrorist state. Putin's ally said that Moscow could respond to such shelling with attacks on Ukraine and NATO.
