Budanov at Ukraine-NATO meeting reveals purpose of Russian strike with Kedr missile on Dnieper

The Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, during a speech at At an emergency meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, the NATO-Ukraine General informed partners about the characteristics of the new medium-range missile “Kedr” of the Russian Armed Forces, which the invaders used to strike the Dnieper on November 21, the NBN publication reports.

The event was also attended by the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Krivonozhko. The generals reported on the consequences of the attack on the city, and also explained to partners what challenges the use of such weapons by Putin's army creates for Euro-Atlantic security.

According to the chief intelligence officer of Ukraine, the goal of the Russian occupiers' attack on the Dnieper with the “Kedr” missile is to intimidate our country's allies so that they leave it without military assistance. In this regard, the military leaders called on partners to strengthen Ukrainian air defense.

We recall that earlier the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense explained the confusion with the name of the new missile weapon of the aggressor country, which the invaders used to shell the Dnieper.
