The French publication Le Monde writes that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have learned to “disorient” the Shahed kamikaze drones, which the Russian occupation forces are constantly using to attack the country, trying to exhaust its air defense resources, NBN reports.
Journalists claim that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are using electronic warfare to redirect attack UAVs into the airspace of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
The media notes that the defenders are using electronic interference to counteract enemy drones. The servicemen are using a system for forging satellite coordinates to distract the Shaheds from their targets.
As a result of spoofing, kamikaze drones begin to orient themselves to new coordinates, are unable to attack targets set by the invaders, and fly back to the Russian Federation or Belarus.
As reported, the commander of the UAV operator group of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense spoke about the preparation of long-range drone strikes on targets on the territory of the aggressor country.
