As reported by “NBN” with reference to information published in the Telegram channel “Novyny Vgolos”, the deputy head of the local OVA Andriy Godik made a statement – two energy infrastructure facilities were damaged by Russian missile shelling of Lviv region, and for this reason, the population of the region, over the coming weeks, may find themselves in conditions of stricter power outage schedules.
Based on Godik's words, 515,000 household consumers in 394 settlements of Lviv region are currently without power, and only 1,000 cities/villages are partially supplied with electricity. However, the official added that the critical infrastructure of heat and water supply enterprises continues to function within the normal mode, thanks to the use of alternative energy sources, in particular, “primarily generators.”
Godik summarized:
Unfortunately, in the coming days, if not weeks, we [the population of the Lviv region] will have to live in fairly strict electricity supply schedules.
