As reported by “NBN” with a link According to the New York Times, according to the executive director of the non-governmental organization “Institute for Sustainable Development of Ukraine”, at least 40 percent of our country's energy generating capacity was destroyed/seized even before the aforementioned large-scale shelling of the Russian Federation.
Based on the words of the director of the “Center for Energy Research” Alexander Kharchenko, the current situation in the energy sector of Ukraine has approached crisis levels, and, judging by everything, energy companies will need several years to increase the corresponding capacities that generate electricity, that is, simply restore/repair the facilities destroyed by the terrorist state.
Kharchenko emphasized:
…In the near future, we will be limited in generating capacities for at least 3-4 years, until we build new ones.
Earlier, our information portal wrote that the State Emergency Service listed regions of Ukraine whose infrastructure suffered from yesterday's strike by the Russian Federation.
