As NBN reports with reference to Reuters sources, Japan is ready to expand funding for Ukraine by a fairly significant amount, but still does not seek to provide direct military assistance.
As it became known, Japan will add 7.46 billion dollars to its fiscal-investment-credit program, the implementation of which is planned for the current financial year. In particular, Tokyo will take into account the need to strengthen support for Ukraine by the G7 member states.
It should be recalled that this summer the G7 was able to agree on the allocation of loans to Kiev in the amount of 50 billion dollars, partially covered by interest on income from the assets of the aggressor country, frozen after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine (February 2022).
Earlier, we wrote about what Sybiga said, as evidenced by yesterday's massive strike by the Russian Federation on Ukraine.
