As NBN reports with reference to The Telegraph, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said statement—his country's troops will help defend Ukraine's borders if any version of peace agreements with the Russian Federation is signed.

According to Johnson, the area of responsibility for protecting the potential demarcation line, after the ceasefire in Ukraine, will apparently be “transferred to a multinational group of European peacekeeping forces.”

The former prime minister is confident that the deployment of British troops on Ukrainian territory will take place within the framework of promoting strict adherence to the ceasefire, since the implementation of such a European operation is practically impossible “without the participation of the British.”

Johnson added—the matter does not concern combat units capable of confronting the Russians, but a “partial solution” according to which peacekeeping forces take control border, thereby helping the Ukrainians.
