As reported by NBN with reference to the official page of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the next government program called “Warm Winter” is a component of the presidential initiative “Winter Support” and will affect low-income families with children and internally displaced persons (IDPs) supporting minors with the first group of disabilities.
Based on the words of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, this type of financial assistance in the amount of 6,500 hryvnia for each child should become a noticeable support for vulnerable categories of the population in the winter season: the money can be spent on purchasing warm clothes, shoes, etc. for children, that is, this financial aid is targeted.
Also, the Prime Minister added that on St. Nicholas Day (December 6), orphans and children deprived of parental care (raised in families of guardians/trustees) will be paid UAH 1,000, in accordance with the program of one of the UN funds, UNICEF.
Earlier, we wrote that Ukrposhta named the categories of citizens to whom postmen will bring home “Zelensky's thousand.”
