As NBN reports with reference to Hirado's material, from the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry Peter Szijjarto made a statement: the results of the November US presidential elections, that is, Donald Trump's presidency, have brought the end of the war in Ukraine as close as possible.
Based on Szijjarto's words, during the presidential campaign in the US, the issue of the war in Ukraine remained one of the key ones: Trump regularly hinted at the need to end the “conflict”, while Kamala Harris supported its “continuation”.
The head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry emphasized:
We [the Hungarian authorities] are making every effort to ensure that Donald Trump's goal of ending this war becomes a reality.
At the same time, the official in Orban's cabinet added that in the opposite situation, the danger of escalation will increase daily.
It should be noted that recently Szijjarto once again visited the terrorist state, where he met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
