ISW Reveals How Much Manpower Russia Lost for Every Square Km² of Ukrainian Territory Captured in the Fall

The day before, the UK Ministry of Defense reported that the losses in the personnel of Putin's army over the past month reached another historical record – 2,000 “good Russians” in one day.

As NBN reports with reference to the material of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), at the current stage of the war, due to the intensification of the autumn offensive, the “second army of the world” is losing more than 50 “liberators” on the battlefield in exchange for one square kilometer of Ukrainian land.

According to ISW geolocation data, Putin's army, advancing during November at a speed not exceeding 27.96 square kilometers/daily, captured, in total, 839 square kilometers in the Donetsk direction and the Kursk region.

In particular, the Russian occupation army lost approximately 125,800 units of personnel during the period of intensive offensive in the period from September to November of this year, exchanging the lives of Russians for 2,356 square kilometers of land (53 “good Russians”/one square kilometer).
