As reported by “NBN” with reference to the statement voiced by the authorized representative of the domestic Parliamentary Human Rights Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets said on the air of the telethon on the YouTube channel “TSN”, so far the relevant structures of our country have managed to return home just over 1,000 little Ukrainians.
Based on Lubinets' words, thanks to the work of a large team, in particular, the authorities supported by international partners (within the framework of the BringBackUA initiative), as of Saturday, December 7, were able to return 1,029 Ukrainian children from the territory of the aggressor country.
The Ombudsman added that the key intermediary state actively facilitating the return of Ukrainian children is Qatar.
In addition, such a small number returned is due to the fact that the main problem is the difficulty of verifying data on deported/exported persons, since the Russian Federation refuses to provide full information on Ukrainian children.
