As reported by “NBN” with a link to the Ukrinform material, a statement was made by White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre: “The current US administration continues to work to distribute all remaining funds intended to support Ukraine before the end of its term on January 20 (the inauguration of the new president, Donald Trump).

Based on Jean-Pierre’s words, she does not yet have exact figures and cannot estimate the volume of unspent funds, but she is confident that over the next 45 days, the White House will try to direct this money to military aid to Ukraine.

In addition, the White House spokesperson added: “ Current US President Joseph Biden is not too worried about a potential delay in funding aid to Kyiv, in particular, the possibility that his successor Donald Trump will suspend aid to Ukraine (even if funds remain), since such a process has not yet “developed”.

Earlier, our information portal wrote about the fact that the day before, on December 6, Sullivan announced the provision of a new batch of military aid to Ukraine.
