As reported by “NBN” with reference to the publication of US President Donald Trump, posted on the social network TruthSocial, the new head of the White House believes that there should be an “immediate ceasefire” in Ukraine, and negotiations regarding the current war should begin.
In particular, Trump spoke about the fall of the dictatorial regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria and the escape of the tyrant, saying that Russia had no reason to be in this Middle Eastern state, since Moscow lost any interest in Damascus because of Ukraine, in which “about 600,000 Russian soldiers” were wounded or killed.
The new head of the White House emphasized that Russia should never have started a war against Ukraine, since the “conflict” could last forever. At the same time, Trump is confident that President Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukraine are ready to conclude an agreement regarding the end of the war, promptly and immediately, including the start of negotiations with the Russian Federation.
Trump summarized:
…If this [war] continues, then it can turn into something much bigger and much worse. I know Volodymyr well. It's his time to act.
