As NBN reports with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian army units involved in the Kursk region, despite the ongoing battles with Putin's troops, managed to advance on the “main salient”.
According to geolocation footage, the Ukrainian Armed Forces advanced in Pogrebki and, it seems, were able to capture Orlovka, Maryevka, Malaya Loknya, Stara Sorochina and Novaya Sorochina (these settlements are located northwest of Sudzha).
Based on the words of the speaker of the 36th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral Mikhail Belinsky, operating in the Kursk region, the “liberators” are trying to attack with mechanized armored columns, but the Defense Forces effectively “utilize” Russian equipment during such attacks.
In addition, one of the Russian “war correspondents” reported that the Ukrainian army carried out an effective counterattack in the outskirts of Darino (southeast of Korenevo).
