As reported by NBN, citing CNN material, the Israeli military command issued a statement: over the past 2 days, at least 480 strikes have been carried out on a number of regions of Syria, as a result of which the majority of local stockpiles of strategic weapons have been damaged.
As it became known, 350 strikes were carried out using manned aircraft: these attacks were aimed at airfields, anti-aircraft batteries, missile launchers, drones, fighter jets, tanks and weapons manufacturing facilities (we are talking about the area near Damascus, Homsa, Tartus, Latakia and Palmyra). The IDF carried out other strikes in support of ground operations forces – weapons depots, military installations, launchers and firing positions were hit.
At the same time, the head of the Israeli defense ministry added – the Syrian fleet was destroyed overnight, which is a “great success.”
Earlier we wrote that the head of the CPD was assessing how many of its soldiers the Kremlin could transfer from Syria to Ukraine.
