On Tuesday, December 11, the president said that he heard a report from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky on the situation in the main directions of the front, the losses of the Russian Federation army, and also about strikes on targets on the territory of the aggressor country.
According to the head of state, in November and December, Putin's occupation troops suffered record losses on the battlefield in Ukraine – Russian invaders are dying en masse in battles and assaults, the NBN publication reports.
The Ukrainian leader specified that the hottest areas of the front are now in the Donetsk region, in particular Pokrovskoe and Kurakhovskoe, where fierce fighting continues.
Zelensky noted that the military commander also reported on the situation on the battlefield in the Kursk region. The president added that now the main task of the Ukrainian Defense Forces is to reduce the military potential of the Russian Federation.
As reported, the head of the Central Defense Forces, Andrei Kovalenko, estimated how many of its troops Moscow can transfer to the front in Ukraine from Syria.
