Litvin, on the air of the national telethon, said that the troops of the aggressor country continue to put pressure on the Pokrovsk direction and improve their tactical position on the contact line in the direction of the village of Novy Trud and the village of Shevchenko.
The military explained that in this section of the front, Russian invaders are advancing towards the city along the railway, the NBN publication reports.
According to him, the intensity of the fighting in the Pokrovsky direction has remained unchanged for several months. Putin's army constantly carries out airstrikes and assaults.
A few weeks ago, the Russian Armed Forces began moving towards Shevchenko and Lisovka, making “scorpion pincers” in this area. After that, the occupiers will pull up, align the front line in the center. This tactic allows the Russians to free up additional forces and transfer them to more vulnerable areas.
The intensity of the assault actions does not decrease either – a platoon of 30 occupiers advances, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy with artillery, FPV drones or UAVs with a drop. Just 40 minutes later, the same number of invaders goes on the attack. Sometimes the Russians don't even carry out medical evacuations.
Note that the day before, the media reported that the troops of the aggressor country had taken up positions three kilometers from Pokrovsk.
