As reported by “NBN” with a link on the Facebook account of the Kyiv-24 TV channel, according to Doctor of Social Economics Zinoviy Svereda, almost all food products included in the traditional diet of Ukrainians will become significantly more expensive in 2025.

Based on Svereda’s words, the bank regulator (NBU) predicts the inflation rate in December to be no more than 9.7 percent, but, on average, the cost of buckwheat will increase differently — within 20 to 25 percent, “like any type of food.”

The expert believes that the most important now – buy more buckwheat, making reserves, and we are not talking about a few kilograms, but at least 10, since in any situation, – “all products in winter, and at the beginning of spring, always become more expensive.”

Svereda pointed out the factors due to which the rate of inflation will only accelerate, that is, prices for products will increase from 10 to 15 percent periodically:

Earlier, our information portal wrote about an expert revealing the real level of inflation in Ukraine, using the “Olivier salad index” as a basis.
