As reported by NBN, citing the official Telegram account of President Volodymyr Zelensky, during the night of Saturday, December 14, the Russian Federation carried out another terrorist act against Ukraine, launching more than 130 attack UAVs, 60 of which were able to eliminate the forces and means of our air defense, and more than 70 were knocked off course by electronic warfare (locally lost).
Zelensky did not forget to express gratitude to “all our defenders of the sky”, mentioning the anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare (EW) units and mobile fire groups, that is, every soldier and every warrior involved in various types and branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The President added that it is very important for the above-mentioned formations of the Defense Forces to continue to protect “our people”, infrastructure facilities from most threats, however, “unfortunately, not from all of them.”
Zelensky again reminded that Ukraine needs appropriate support from partner states: a larger number of Patriot air defense/missile defense systems and identical systems, ammunition to them, as well as the expansion of sanctions restrictions against the Russian Federation, because:
…All this will allow us to protect more of our people. And the world has the resources to help us with this.
