As reported by “NBN” with reference to the material of “Ukrainska Pravda”, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Dmitry Lubinets made a statement – since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against our country, 177 cases of killing of captured defenders by Russians have been recorded.

Based on Lubinets' words, 109 similar war crimes have been documented this year alone, which indicates an escalation of violence on the part of the “liberators”.

At the same time, in the previous period (from 2022 to 2024), information about executions came mainly from law enforcement and intelligence agencies of Ukraine, but, in recent months, a lot of open video evidence of mass murders by the Russian Federation has appeared, distributed by the “mouthpieces of the Kremlin” themselves, not only with the aim of intimidating the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but also to wash the invaders in blood, “so that they do not surrender to the Ukrainian forces.”

Earlier, our information portal wrote about Lubinets answering how many children Ukraine was able to return from the Russian Federation by the beginning of December 2024.
