As reported by “NBN” with reference to the DPA material, judging by everything, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will meet with the newly elected US President Donald Trump after the above-described inauguration procedure.
As journalists have learned, Scholz intends to arrive in Washington, where he will visit Trump only after the billionaire's inauguration and the transfer of powers of the US President to the Republican. However, this time frame is somewhat limited, since snap elections are expected in the German parliament (Bundestag), which are likely to take place on February 23 next year.
According to DPA data, Scholz has repeatedly emphasized his great desire to meet with Trump almost immediately after the billionaire takes office as head of the White House, in fact, starting in November, and it seems that such a “rendezvous” between the leaders of the United States and Germany will take place in the coming February.
