As reported by “NBN” with a link to the official page of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the allocation of financial assistance for accommodation from next year will be extended automatically only for a certain part of IDPs.
In particular, without additional application to the structural departments of social protection agencies, the accrual of financial assistance will be extended exclusively to the most vulnerable groups of IDPs, and we are talking about:
- elderly citizens whose pension benefit does not exceed UAH 9,444;
- individuals with disabilities of the first or second group/minors with disabilities/seriously ill children;
- orphans and children deprived of parental care (up to 23 years of age), as well as foster parents and adoptive parents;
- pensioners who have reached 60 years of age, but do not have the right to apply for an age benefit or state social assistance (subject to prior application to the Pension Fund).
Earlier, we wrote that the Ministry of Social Policy answered whether other payments to IDPs are canceled when assignment of a subsidy for housing rental.
