During an online conversation with readers of the French publication Le Parisien, the head of state said that our country could strengthen its air defense and long-range capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces by launching domestic production of weapons, equipment and shells under Western licenses, writes NBN.
According to him, the allies should invest in strengthening our country's capabilities, share technologies with Ukrainians, contributing to the security of Europe. If the West does not have the capacity to produce modern air defense systems in a timely manner, it can provide Kyiv with licenses for the production of these systems, as well as other weapons.
The president believes that the continuation of the war indicates that Ukraine is not receiving enough help from its partners. The defeat of our country in the war will allow battle-hardened Russians to attack other states.
Also, during a conversation with readers of the French media, the guarantor spoke about the negotiations with the head of the Kremlin and admitted whether the dictator's threats frighten him.
