During the “Direct Line” on Thursday, December 19, a resident of the Kursk region asked Putin when Russia would regain control of all the territories of the border region, the NBN publication reports, citing the BBC.
The Kremlin dictator refused to name a specific date, but promised that Russian occupation forces would “definitely drive” the Ukrainian Defense Forces out of the region. In addition, Moscow intends to assess the damage and restore everything destroyed, for which the authorities have already allocated 108 billion rubles.
The leader of the Russians expressed hope that the acting head of the region, Alexander Khinshtein, will establish individual work with residents of the Kursk region.
It should be noted that Putin's corresponding promises are unfounded, since Russians in the Kursk and Belgorod regions complain about the impossibility of receiving compensation or housing certificates. They are often denied assistance on formal grounds.
Also during the “Direct Line” the dictator proposed to hold a “duel” in Kyiv between all Western air defense systems and the Russian missile system “Oreshnik”.
