You can apply for a payment of 1,000 hryvnia under the Winter Support program through the state application “Diya” (if you have a modern smartphone), or spend these funds at a Ukrposhta office (for those who receive their pension there), but there is a third option.

As reported by NBN with reference to the material of the publication “Na Pensii”, people with outdated push-button phones, for whom the state transfers pension benefits to the bank, will now also be able to submit a request to receive “Zelensky's thousand”.
In particular, to receive such state assistance, you should contact the bank to the account to which the pension is received, providing the financial institution employee with a passport, taxpayer identification code, and also providing a mobile phone number.
After checking the specified data, the bank operator will be able to open an account and issue a specific card, funds for which will be received within 10 days, which will be reported in an SMS notification.
However, it is necessary to remember that this 1,000 hryvnia can only be spent on:
- payment of utility bills;
- purchase of certain products, medicines and books;
- medical, transport, telecommunications and insurance services;
- educational courses;
- support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier we wrote that the Cabinet of Ministers announced the payment of new aid to Ukrainians in 908 hryvnia since December 16.
