As reported by “NBN”, citing a material from “Ukrainska Pravda”, made a statement from the former head of the Ministry of Justice Denis Maliuska – a significant part of the data entered into the state registers of the said department was already relatively freely available, however, there is an important nuance.

Based on Maliuska's words, the state register of acts of civil status of the population, controlled by the Ministry of Justice, contains information that would seem to be of little value to the enemy, and we are talking about dates of birth or marriage. However, this same database contains classified information related to the secret adoption.

The former minister emphasized that due to the fact that Russian hacker groups have changed their approach to their actions, focusing not only on stealing confidential information, the above-described data was deleted/destroyed.

However, since the Ministry of Justice managed to create a sufficient number of backup copies of the registers (“backups”), the data can be restored, but not earlier than in 2 weeks.

Earlier, we wrote that they answered Umerov whether the large-scale cyberattack affected the registers of the Ministry of Defense.
