The head of the Hungarian government said that the Russian-Ukrainian war will end in 2025 one of two scenarios: either at the negotiating table or the destruction of one of the parties. Putin's spokesman commented on the Prime Minister's words, the NBN publication reports, citing the TASS propaganda agency.
The Russian leader's press secretary recalled that the head of the Kremlin has repeatedly spoken about maintaining Russia's openness to the negotiation process. Once again, the official complained about Kyiv's refusal to engage in dialogue with Moscow.
Peskov noted that Russia is continuing the so-called “special operation” since there has been “no progress” in the negotiations from the Ukrainian leadership.
Recall that on December 19, during the “Direct Line,” the Russian dictator spoke about peace talks with Ukraine. He also issued an ultimatum to Vladimir Zelensky.
