The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that today Russian invaders are massively shelling the border areas of the region. The army of the aggressor country uses various types of weapons to carry out attacks, including drones and guided aerial bombs.
The department explained that the sounds of explosions from these enemy attacks on border areas were heard, in particular, in the city of Sumy, the NBN publication reports.
The OVA called on citizens to observe safety rules, not to ignore air raid sirens and to take shelter.
It should be noted that Russian occupation forces daily carry out attacks on border areas of Sumy region, which borders the Kursk region of the aggressor country, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting an operation.
As reported, in early December, DeepState announced that Russians had entered the territory of the region. The Sumy OVA and the State Border Service of Ukraine commented on the relevant information.
