As reported by NBN with reference to the Telegram channel of the head of the Nikolaev regional military administration (OVA) Vitaly Kim, on the night of Sunday, air defense forces and means managed to “land” 9 Russian-Iranian kamikaze drones in the region.
Based on Kim's words, at about 11:40 am on Saturday, December 28, the Russian Federation carried out a drone strike on the Nikolaev district: as a result of the fall of fragments of the destroyed UAVs, three outbuildings and a vacation home caught fire in the recreational area. The fire was promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service specialists, and fortunately there were no casualties.
Also, at about 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, the enemy attacked the Black Sea community, launching traditional Gerani-2/Shaheds: a hit was recorded in an abandoned building. In addition, the wreckage of the downed kamikaze drones set fire to the administrative building of the energy infrastructure facility, but the fire was urgently extinguished by the “emergency workers”. At the same time, a 49-year-old power engineer was injured, whose condition is currently satisfactory.
