Power engineers reported through the Kyiv Digital app that NEC Ukrenergo does not plan to introduce power outage schedules for tomorrow. Ukrainians will spend the seventh day of the new year with electricity, the NBN publication reports.

On the morning of January 6, the company reported that today's electricity consumption, as of 09:30, was 5.6% higher than at the same time on the previous working day – Friday, January 3, due to a drop in temperature in most regions of the country.

Ukrenergo also recalled that last year the energy system suffered from 13 massive attacks by the Russian Armed Forces, and emergency recovery work is currently ongoing at critical infrastructure facilities. For this reason, the situation with power outages may change.

Kiev residents can find up-to-date information about planned or emergency schedules on the DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids portal, and residents of the Kyiv region can find it on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Grids website.

As reported, Energy Minister German Galushchenko spoke about the consequences of the attacks by Russian occupiers on energy facilities last year.
