Fedorenko reported that active clashes continue in the Kharkiv region battles, one of the main areas of confrontation with the enemy is the Lipetsk community, in particular, the village of Glubokoe. In this settlement in May last year, the Russian Armed Forces launched an offensive, which was stopped by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, since then the Russian invaders have not been able to change the front line in their favor. The enemy remained on the lines where it was at the end of spring, the NBN publication reports.
The UBAK battalion commander noted that the Russians need not only to be driven out of their positions, but also to hold the occupied territories, which is difficult to do in the conditions of constant attacks by the invaders with FPV drones, UAVs with drops, shelling from artillery, mortars. However, the defenders are holding the defense firmly, despite enemy strikes.
The serviceman added that in the Kharkov direction the occupiers are still trying to regain the lost position, but are not achieving success. Since the Russians cannot get the result head-on, they use sabotage and reconnaissance groups, trying to find weak spots in the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian intelligence and special forces block all attempts by saboteurs.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces spoke about the tactics of Putin's army near Pokrovsk.
