The head of the OVA said that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin was preparing for an offensive on Zaporizhia. However, the Russian leader abandoned the corresponding plans, according to Fedorov, due to the good preparation of the Defense Forces for enemy attacks, the NBN publication reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
The official said that the authorities of the Zaporizhia region, together with the military, are building a multi-layered defense in the region, which covers not only the front lines, but also the circular defense of the cities of Zaporizhia, Gulyaipole, Orekhov, Volnyansk and the village of Kamyshevakha.
The head of the administration added that the regional leadership and the military are doing everything to protect the region with concrete structures in fortifications.
It should be noted that information about the preparation of the offensive of Putin's army on the Zaporizhia region began to spread in the fall of 2024. At the same time, a threat was reported directly to the regional center.
Earlier, the 92nd separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on the situation in the Kharkov direction.
