As reported by “NBN” with reference to the official response published in the Telegram profile of the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine, the information circulating on the Internet about the alleged summer revision of electricity tariffs is unreliable and pursues certain goals.

As reported by the press service of the Ukrainian energy department, at the moment there is no document/resolution or draft of such a decision concerning the upward adjustment of electricity tariffs for the population. This issue is currently, if we believe the Ministry of Energy, “not on the agenda at all.”

The Ministry of Energy emphasized that the dissemination of false statements regarding tariff increases is a direct attempt by the terrorist state [Russia] to influence the stability of the situation in Ukraine, and therefore one should remain attentive and, accordingly, trust only official sources.

It should be recalled that in Ukraine the moratorium on increasing the cost of utilities does not affect electricity, and a revision of electricity tariffs is quite realistic.

Earlier, our information portal wrote that an expert told when the cost of electricity for the population will be increased to 9 hryvnia per kilowatt/hour.
