As reported by NBN with reference to the material of Ukrinform, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal made a statement – at the current moment, the second level of protection against air attacks by the Russian Federation has been installed at 69 Ukrenergo substations, and at another 13, identical work continues.

Based on Shmyhal's words, virtually all energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine have been “encased in concrete” in the first level of shelters. However, the next, second type of such measures, in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, intend to protect only 84 large objects of Ukrenergo, in a phased manner: the implementation of work at substations is distributed in three stages.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine added that the construction of shelters and the third level has started, which will be able to “cover the sky” over 22 substations, thus minimizing the consequences of regular missile strikes by a terrorist state.
