As reported by “NBN” With reference to the BoxingNews24 material, Eddie Hearn, who is the promoter of the IBF world champion in the first heavyweight category Jay Tapu Opetai, made a statement regarding the timing of the fight between his protégé and the unified champion of the super heavyweight division, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

According to Hearn, Opetai may clash in the ring with the Ukrainian no earlier than 2026, while the Australian’s “advertising agent” has no doubt that, as a result, Jay will become the undisputed world champion in his weight category before challenging Alexander, and try to collect all the heavyweight titles.

Based on Hearn's words, Opetaia is the only fighter in the first heavyweight and super heavyweight categories who can give Alexander a real fight:

In 12-18 months, the fight between Jay and Alexander will become the greatest classic of all time.

Earlier, our information portal wrote about former world champion McKenzie explaining why Usyk will be able to defeat Dubois for the second time.
