As NBN reports with reference to the material of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the American military Experts have recorded the advancement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces northwest of Sudzha.

In particular, in the geolocation footage released on January 10-11, one can see that the Defense Forces of our country managed to push through the “liberators” in the northern part of Pogrebki (northwest of Sudzha), and also intensify the assaults near Cherkasskoye Porechye, Russkoye Porechye, Pogrebki and Makhnovka.

Also, one of the Russian “war correspondents” claimed that the “second army of the world” attempted to advance 3.25 kilometers deep into the village of Russkoye Porechye (north of Sudzha), but ISW analysts did not find any confirmation of such statements. In addition, another “mouthpiece of the Kremlin” complained that Putin's troops were unable to capture Makhnovka (southeast of Sudzha), since the Ukrainian Armed Forces partially restored their positions in the northern part of this settlement.

In addition to all of the above, a number of Russian sources noted that due to worsening weather conditions and the soaking of the soil, a new stage of Russian offensive operations, judging by everything, will not begin until the ground in the Kursk region freezes again.
